Transportation from Dublin and Stops on the Way

Meet your guide and driver in central Dublin as you head on an amazing day across Ireland. Enjoy the lush hills and countless sheep along the drive before reaching our first stop, Kilmacduagh Monastery.

Believed to have been founded in the 7th century by Saint Colman, the Kilmacduagh Monastery is one of the oldest Catholic sites in Ireland. With ruins and graves over 1,000 years old it is a harrowing insight into Irish history. Visit the famous 12th century Round Tower amongst the scattering of stone buildings dating back more than 800 years.

Cliffs of Moher

Before seeing the Cliffs of Moher it is impossible to appreciate the preeminence and magnitude of these great palisades overhanging the Atlantic Ocean. Discover the stunning views and natural phenomenon of the lush green crashing onto the rocky ridge. From 700 feet above relax and be captivated in awe.

Head to the visitor's center for an interactive video experience in amazing high definition. Before departing be sure to look around where you will hopefully see some of the Cliffs famous residents, Puffins.

The Burren National Park and Wild Atlantic Way

At the Burren, your perfect photo opportunities will continue. A confluence of climates and topography, see Arctic, Mediterranean and Alpine plants growing side by side. With extreme karst rock formations you will have amazing views stretching to the Aran Islands and 12 Bens Mountains.

From the Cliffs of Moher to Galway you will ride down the historic Wild Atlantic Way. This route ranging from Kerry to Sligo rivals California's Pacific Coast Highway. Drive through villages like Kinvara, Ballyvaughan, and Kilfenora and see sights such as the medieval Dunguaire Castle.

The final stop of the day is the wondrous city of Galway. Located on the bay of the same name, the city is home to much of Europe's freshest seafood. Take a stroll down the old Long Walk.

Though you may not lose your heart to a Galway Girl as in the famous song, you are sure to fall in love with Galway. If your trip is a romantic one, stop by one of Galway's famous jewelers where one can purchase a beautiful claddagh ring.

After free time in Galway, hop back on the coach and head back to Dublin after an incredible day.

Our guide, Brian was super knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. He was happy to answer any questions, give quality recommendations, and was sure to ask everyone how their trip was. If and when we are back in Dublin we will be taking another!

I was so scared for months that we were going to have to deal with the rain in Ireland. It was sunny and in the 60s the day we were there absolutely perfect weather. Absolutely beautiful and Galway was such a quaint little Irish town, I could totally retire there!
